Senior Mart Return Policy
At Senior Mart, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you're not 100% happy, we offer a 30-day return policy, subject to a 10%–20% restocking fee, depending on the item category (see below).
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, please ensure:
✔ The product is clean, unused, and in its original packaging
✔ You return the item within 30 days of placing the order or 21 days from the delivery date, whichever comes first
✔ You retain all original packaging for 30 days, as items must be returned in their original box
✔ You have an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning the item
🔹 Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
Return Process
ü Obtain an RMA Number – Call us at 949.340.9100 to request an RMA number. This number must be written on the box. Returns without an RMA will be refused and sent back with no refund.
ü Ship Within the Return Window – Items must be shipped back within 30 days of purchase or 21 days from receipt. Returns sent after this timeframe will be refused.
ü Condition Requirements – The item must be in new, unused condition, in its original packaging, and include all paperwork, parts, and accessories. Damaged or incomplete returns will not be accepted.
ü Non-Refundable Fees – Shipping costs, expedited shipping, handling fees, and additional service charges are non-refundable.
ü Return Shipping Costs – Customers are responsible for return shipping. However, we can assist in providing a prepaid shipping label at the lowest rate possible. The shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
Restocking Fees
A restocking fee will apply to returned items as follows:
✔ 10% Restocking Fee applies to all standard products except those listed below.
✔ 15% Restocking Fee – Applies to:
- Patient Lifts
- Scooters
- Power Chairs & Power Wheelchairs
- Massage Chairs
- Electronic Items (non-vision aids)
- Lift Chairs & Recliners
✔ 20% Restocking Fee – Applies to:
- Beds & Bed Packages
- Vision Aids
Non-Returnable Items
Due to health, safety, and customization reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following:
🚫 Personal & Hygiene Products – Includes mattresses, incontinence products, dental/oral care, wound care, PPE (masks, wipes, test kits), and bath safety products (if opened)
🚫 Medical & Custom Items – Includes custom-built items, stairlifts, elevators, used/open box equipment, and Exaco large greenhouses
🚫 Consumables & Electrical Components – Includes nutritional products, cleaning supplies, batteries, chargers, and electronic components
🚫 Replacement Parts – All replacement parts are final sale
Special Cases
🔹 Open Box Specials
- Open Box Specials include products with minor imperfections or those ordered incorrectly.
- These items are non-returnable but covered by a 5-day issue resolution period upon receipt.
🔹 Refused Deliveries & Cancellations
- If you refuse delivery, you will be charged for return shipping, subject to the applicable restocking fee.
- White Glove Delivery orders cannot be canceled once shipped. If a return is needed, a restocking fee and return shipping charges will apply. The White Glove service charge is non-refundable.
