Arjo Sara Stedy Stand-Assist Manual Patient Standing Aid
Perform sit to stand transfers throughout the day with the ArjoHuntleigh Sara Stedy and Sara Stedy Compact. Can be operated by a single caregiver to assist patients or residents.
With the Sara Stedy Manual Stand Aid, patients can pull themselves up into a standing position. This stand minimizes the amount of manual handling required by caregivers, while serving as an excellent rehabilitation tool for patients who are partially weight bearing. It is designed to be both safe and easy for patients to use. The stand aid features an innovative pivoting seat, so that it is easy for patients to get into the lift. Soft knee supports provide the patient with stability during the lift and once they are standing.

This stand aid is designed with several features that offer benefits to both the patient and the caregiver. One notable feature is the inclusion of a cross-bar handle, which allows the patient to exert a pulling motion and support themselves. This pulling motion, as opposed to a pushing motion, helps reduce the risk of urine leakage, thereby promoting the patient's dignity and comfort.
Additionally, the stand aid incorporates integrated handgrips into the seat, making it convenient for the caregiver to maneuver and turn the aid while it is in use. This feature enhances the caregiver's control and ease of operation.
To further improve accessibility during transfers, the stand aid is equipped with pedal-operated chassis legs. This design eliminates the need for the caregiver to bend down, enabling them to adjust the legs easily. Moreover, the inclusion of total-lock castors ensures stability when the aid is anchored, providing a secure and safe environment for the patient.
The stand aid also stands out with its lower chassis and small castors. This design choice offers easier access to the unit, benefiting both the patient and caregiver in terms of convenience and maneuverability.
